Hello, you are visiting the homepage of the chessclub of the Dutch Elementary School Prinses Margriet, lokated in the town of Apeldoorn. The chessclub has just started to give information about their chessactivities on internet this year. One of our special activities is playing in a email chess exchange programm with schools or children in the U.S.A. | ||||||||||||||||

The chessclub is small, just thirty members. But several members are also member of the wellknown dutch youth chessclubs The Schaakmaat and ASG. Some of them have won already a few championships (town and districts-championships). The children get their training by special chessteachers, also (senior-)members of The Schaakmaat and ASG. We have three teams playing in a special tournament of schools of the town of Apeldoorn. Our first team is playing in the first class , group 1, our second team (only girls) is playing in the first class, group 3. Our thirth team is playing in the second class, group 1. This year our school has started with email chess exchange programms with schools in the U.S.A. and with children in the U.S.A. . The results and information about the games could be found on page 3. The pages 1,2,3 and 4 are still under construction. The information will be updated the first week of october. | ||||||||||||||||
